Apple Jonnycake




Ingredients:
1 tbsp reduced calorie margarine
2 tbsp reduced calorie syrup
2 large apples, cored, sliced 1/4" thick
3/4 cup cornmeal
3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt1 egg
1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup reduced calorie syrup
2 tbsp oil

Directions:
In ovenproof skillet heat margarine and 2 tbsp syrup; add apples and saute 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and arrange apples in a neat pattern. In bowl combine dry ingredients. Combine wet ingredients and add to dry, stirring just till combined. Spread batter over apples. Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Invert onto serving platter. Serve immediately.
