Minnesota Wild Rice Soup





1 cup uncooked wild rice, cooked according to pkg. directions
9 slices bacon, fired and crumbled (I"ve alson used ham or chicken)
1 medium onion, chopped and browned in bacon grease
1 can cream of potato soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Mix the soups and milk. Add cheese and heat until the cheese melts. Add bacon, onion, and cooked wild rice. If desired, add 1/2 cup slivered almonds. Heat on low until ready to eat.
