Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 cup sweetened coconut
8 oz slivered almonds
3 1/2 cups rice chex cereal, crushed
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Melt the butter and brown sugar over med-low heat. Boil for 1 minute. Add the coconut and almonds, then add the crushed cereal. Press 1/2 the mixture into a 9x13 pan. Cut the ice cream to fit the dish and place on top. Add the rest of the mixture on top of ice cream. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze. Bring out of freezer and cut into 12 pieces. Top with caramel, chocolate or other desired toppings.
