Chocolate Chip Cookies
3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup butter, sofened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup nuts, optional
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla; beat until cream. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chcolate chips and nuts. Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 9-11 minutes.

We learned in MN to use 3 cups flour. It may be climate and/or altitude but it has worked great in OH, too. Give it a try and let us know how it works in your neck of the woods!
