2 cups flour
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 cup shortening
1 1/4 cups milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Mix together until well blended. Pour into greased and floured cake pan (9x13x2) or 2 (8-inch) cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Frost as desired.
